Westhaven Provides Financing Update

Vancouver, B.C. - October 31st, 2013 - Westhaven Ventures Inc. (TSX-V:WHN) is pleased to announce that it has closed the first tranche of its non-brokered private placement previously disclosed on October 21st, 2013. The first tranche has raised gross proceeds of $82,849 through the issuance of 920,555 flow-through share units of the Company. The Units are being offered at a price of $0.09 per unit. Each FT Unit consists of one flow-through common share and one non-transferable, non flow-through warrant (the “NFT Warrant”). Each NFT Warrant entitles the holder to purchase one non flow-through common share at a price of $0.14 for a period of 24 months from the closing date of the private placement. The Company paid finder’s fees of $5,440 in connection with this placement. The placement will become free trading on March 1st, 2014.

The net proceeds from the sale of Units will be used to fund drill programs for both the Shovelnose and Ben gold exploration projects, and working capital.
