Vancouver, B.C. - October 5, 2015 - Westhaven Ventures Inc. (TSX-V:WHN) is pleased to announce that ground geophysics has commenced at its 18,412 hectare Shovelnose gold property, located within the prospective Spences Bridge Gold Belt (SBGB), approximately 30 km south of Merritt, British Columbia.

Westhaven has engaged Scott Geophysics Ltd. of Vancouver, B.C. to complete approximately 15 line- kilometres of combined geophysical surveys on its Shovelnose gold property including induced polarization (IP), ground magnetics, and VLF-EM. The surveys will encompass the Tower, MIK and Line 6 zones along with intervening ground, where drilling has traced a broad zone of near surface, lower grade gold-silver mineralization. The purpose of this program is to delineate epithermal trends hosting gold-silver mineralization for drill testing. Drilling is scheduled to commence following the surveys.
