Vancouver, B.C. - September 15, 2015 - Westhaven Ventures Inc. (TSX-V:WHN) announces that a Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) high resolution topographic mapping survey has commenced at its 18,412 hectare Shovelnose gold property, located within the prospective Spences Bridge Gold Belt (SBGB), approximately 30 km south of Merritt, British Columbia.

Westhaven has engaged Eagle Mapping Ltd. of Port Coquitlam, B.C. to survey approximately 1900 hectares on its Shovelnose gold property, including the Line 6, Mik and Tower Zones. Lidar uses laser light to measure distance similar to RADAR, but uses light rather than radio waves. The result is the ability to produce accurate, detailed surface mapping quickly. The purpose of this program is to identify potential structural features that could act as conduits for mineralization.

Upcoming Plans for Shovelnose:

• Ground geophysics (Induced polarization and magnetic surveys) are expected to commence within two weeks
• Drilling to commence shortly after ground geophysics

Shovelnose Highlights:

• 50.4 metre drill intersection grading 0.54 g/t Au (Gold) and 4.77 g/t Ag (Silver), which includes 13.7 metres grading 0.91 g/t Au and 6.65 g/t Ag
• Strong silicification and quartz veining, typical of epithermal-style gold deposits, has been encountered in the Tower Zone
• There is significant evidence of higher grade gold-mineralization typical of epithermal gold deposits as evidenced by mineralized quartz veins in trenches grading 66 g/t Au, float samples grading 119 g/t Au and 273 g/t Ag and extensive lower grade alteration zones
• Limited drilling to date has encountered an area of low-grade gold-silver mineralization which extends for at least 2 kilometres east-west and 100 metres north-south and is open in all directions
• Gold and silver mineralization, associated with quartz veining and silicification, has been encountered in all 24 holes drilled to date
